Meet our new seven Humane Education volunteeteers
At Rwanda Animal Welfare Organization, we are proud to welcome seven passionate Humane Education Volunteers who have officially joined our team this year 2026 in our Humane Education Project.
These animal lovers are made by final year university students and fresh graduates , All volunteers share one powerful thing in common: a deep compassion for animals and a strong commitment to shaping a kinder future. After a thoughtful selection process, they stood out not only for their knowledge, but for their hearts and willingness to give back.
They have chosen to dedicate their time and energy to empowering young learners in primary schools, helping children grow with values of empathy, kindness, compassion and respect towards animals .
Through their voices, children will begin to understand that animals are sentient beings deserving care and dignity. Through their actions, communities will rediscover compassion, coexistence, and responsibility toward the environment and animals.
And through their dedication, a new story for Rwanda is quietly unfolding one rooted in empathy and hope.
These volunteers are more than a team.
They are a promise.
A promise that the future can be kinder.
A promise that empathy can be taught.
A promise that change is already happening.
