Animal Welfare Education
RAWO integrates animal welfare into primary and secondary school curriculums, reaching over 1,700 students with topics such as responsible pet ownership, public health, and the One Health approach.
Vaccination Campaigns
Organized annually during World Rabies Day, RAWO vaccinates hundreds of dogs to prevent the spread of rabies—520 in Musanze and 200 in Bugesera in recent campaigns.
Community Outreach & Training
RAWO trains livestock farmers on animal husbandry, the Five Freedoms, responsible antibiotic use, and One Health. Over 1,700 farmers were reached between 2021 and 2023.
